Dear Mr. Breland,

We wanted to take the opportunity to provide feed back on our experience during the purchase of our home in the Breckenridge Subdivision this past year. I went through the military relocation company (USAA) who assigned Mr. Steve MacKenzie as our Realtor for our transfer.

Immediately upon being selected as our agent, Steve sprang into action.  He was highly responsive to our calls and questions and maintained an active line of communication throughout the process so we were never left wondering where we stood.  He provided concise information via email, fax and regular mail outlining prospective houses based on analyzing my wife Karina's tastes and desires.  To be completely honest, my wife was extremely apprehensive in using a male Realtor as she felt he wouldn't be able to relate to her perspective.  Steve did an excellent job in meeting and exceeding her expectations!  He was honest and upfront with us concerning the trends of the market and home pricing tendencies.  He made us feel that we were his only clients and showed us houses as if he were purchasing the homes for himself.  He was instrumental in negotiating the sales terms and assisted us in executing a contract within 24 hours of us flying into town from Buffalo, NY.  I credit the rapid movement of the process to his dedication to the client and his keen sense in identifying the proper properties to show.  He remained engaged with the involved parties (title company, lender, home inspection and termite professionals) to ensure the proper paperwork was pushed forward to the closing date.  Without him as the catalyst, the process would have undoubtedly stalled somewhere along the way. 

His efforts didn't stop there, upon realizing we had to be present to get water turned on from the city, Steve provided the required deposit out of his own pocket to help us before we made it to town.

We are a military family so the sale and purchase of housing is a way of life for us.  Never in our many tours of duty have we experienced such a personable and compassionate Realtor.  Fashioning your company Realtors after his style of customer service would certainly serve to benefit your organization for years to come.  It was a pleasure to have him as our Realtor and we wish him many more years of success as it is well deserved.

Dear Jeff Breland,

We would like to take a moment to let you know about our outstanding experience with one of your real estate agents Steve MacKenzie.  From the moment we began contact with Steve, he showed us a positive attitude and complete readiness to ensure we were completely satisfied in our home purchase experience.

In May, our family of four drove from Nebraska to search for a home.  With only a few days to find the right home in the right school district, our stress levels were high.  But once we arrived in town, Steve took the time to explain an aggressive game plan to neet our specific nees.  He showed us everything available within our guidelines while not wasting our limited time.

Within one day we found the perfect house!  Unfortunately, the house closing would be weeks later and we would be back in Nebraska.  Steve quickly volunteered to act on our behalf and handle all closing issues.  Without Steve, we would have had to make another trip just to close on the house.  This was a tremendous relief and weight off our minds.  We gave him power of attorney and on the day of the closing, he was in constant contact with us and kept us informed of the day's events.

Even after the closing, Steve continued in his amazing efforts to make our transition to our new home as simple as possible.  He paved the way for a plumber and another professional to take care of some minor work that needed to be done before we moved in.  Remember, we were still in Nebraska.  Finally, as we were driving down from Nebraska, Steve called to inform us that a hurricane was approaching, warned us not to travel and gave us a jump on hotel reservations.  Had it not been for his warning, we certainly wouldn't have been able to find the accomodations we did.  Through all the phone calls, emails and all the stresses, Steve was always responsive, friendly, and professional!

Steve went above and beyond the duties of his position.  He made our move here the best in 17 years of military moves.  We couldn't have done it without him.  Please pass on our sincere appreciation to him for a job well done!
